Throwback

I have written a lot about one of the factories that we work with that specializes in lacquer. Here are some photos of the people that work there and some that live in the home next to the factory. The picture below is the chicken that they killed for lunch at the factory! They don't waste anything at all and will eat anything!  

Below are chicken feet and cow tongue! The boys who were preparing the meal didn't speak English, so again we were communicating through hand signals or them just laughing at me. I'm sure my facial expressions were giving away a lot of my feelings while watching them prepare the meal.

This man is the husband of the woman who runs the factory. He is cutting up pieces of wood to make a sample.

The factory is covered in spider webs in the ceilings and they are just everywhere! I also saw a couple of rats running along the rafters.
